in and around Manchester. Even though I passed only on the third attempt, I

Done the full course, found it great help. When I first came in I didn't know anywhere. Now I
have passed the Hackney Knowledge Test first time and am earning great money.

When I first came for taxi lessons I knew nothing (ie Water St, Town), but with hard work, excellent teaching showing me how to learn and, also telling me I could do it all the time (especially from Shaf & Abdul), I have passed my Private Hire test and am waiting to take my Hackney test.
I would say to anyone wanting to pass a test you must come for lessons, as I would never have passed without them. Also I have made new friends who have all helped each other out.

The Taxi Academy is the first independent training facility for Taxi Drivers in the City of Manchester. It aims to equip the next generation of taxi drivers with the Skills required to transport the general public in a professional and efficient manner.
As with all modern professions, the public demand more of their Taxi service. For instance they expect drivers to be knowledgeable and courteous. The City Council is reinforcing this by improving the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire driver exams. This has led to the need for Specialist Taxi Driver Training and Support from establishments like the Taxi Academy.

I attended an 8 week course at the Taxi Academy to help me gain my Private Hire Badge.
It was very helpful because they broke down everything I needed to know into easy to manage sections. If you want your Private Hire or Hackney badge then the Academy is the way to go.

I never thought I would pass my Hackney Badge, but with the little push from the tutors and the effort I was putting in at home I passed first time.

When I started the Taxi Academy at first I didn't know about any place, but when I started the academy and I took lessons I understood all the areas and had taken the exam and I pass 1st time. I found this academy very helpful.

I joined Taxi Academy to pass my Private Hire test and I passed 1st time. They are very friendly and helpful. Before I wasn't know anything about Manchester, they help me to know everything to pass test.

I have been taking my private hire test since last year. I made 3 attempts at it on my own and failed, so I went with Taxi Academy for an 8 week course and then took my test again and past first time. I think the taxi acadamy was brilliant.

I come to Taxi Academy to pass my Salford Private Hire, I failed twice, then passed on my third try. The tutor gave me a lot of help to pass. If you need your Taxi Badge go to Taxi Academy.
